ARCHIBALD KNOX "CYMRIC" STERLING AND ENAMEL FORK

Archibald Knox was one of the leading British metal-smiths of the late 19th and early 20th century. This fork was designed, in ca. 1903, for and retailed by Liberty & Co. Knox’s interest in Celtic forms was very influential, and heralded the Celtic Revival in the 1890s. This piece was featured in Roseanne Raab’s article, “Food + Fork” in the Silver Magazine, January/ February 2010 issue.
