ELEGANT VINTAGE 1940'S RETRO GOLD AND DIAMOND "LUDO" BRACELET.

This style of bracelet, formed of honey-comb shaped elements sometimes called ludo-hexagon, was perfected by Van Cleef & Arpels in the 1930's. It is completely supple, and the central element features "star set" small diamonds. This bracelet, like many vintage pieces, is timelessly elegant. It was made in Argentina, most certainly by a French jeweler who had fled France during the war.
