SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND 1940'S VINTAGE EARRINGS

These earrings have a simple, round form; but within that, there is an intricate design in 18k gold holding numerous small sapphires, with an off-center cluster of fine diamonds. The unusual clip back holds them securely but comfortably on the ear. They are elegant, unusual and very wearable, and bear French Control marks.
