DAUM NANCY ART DECO ACID CUT GLASS VASE

Daum Freres, working from their glass works in Nancy, France, produced some of the best French Art Deco glass. This is a spectacular color, with metallic inclusions and a deeply acid-cut complex geometric design, and of impressive size. The vase is finished by hand using engraving wheels - a very time-consuming technique which creates different subtle textures. A very powerful piece.
