Description

During the latter part of the 19th century, it was very common to set antique carved intaglios into simple rings in the ancient style. These rings were very popular for their understated elegance, and historical reference. They remain popular today for the same reasons, but have become difficult to find. This ring features a carnelian intaglio of a Greek or Roman goddess with her attributes.

These rings were, and are worn by both men and women. This is a size 8, and can be re-sized.
