MAUBOUSSIN, PARIS SAPPHIRE AND PLATINUM RING

A very unusual free-form design, typical of the new styles of the time. It consists of round cut diamonds bordered by diamond baguettes, with a rich blue cabochon sapphire in the middle. This is a very unusual and “modern” design, and is illustrated on p.201 of Marguerite de Cerval’s book on Mauboussin. This is a ring that is certain to draw the right kind of attention.
