René Boivin’s famed Parisian jewelry house produced some of the most beautiful and innovative jewelry of the Art Deco period, some of it designed by the famed Suzanne Belperron, but these pieces are quite rare. Two rows of pave-set diamonds form the curved central panel. The stepped design on the sides of the ring’s shank are clearly inspired by Art Deco architecture. A similar ring is featured in the authoritative book on Rene Boivin, written by Francoise Cailles, on page 144. C1932. Ring size 5.75. Bears poinçon for René Boivin.
