Stunning French Art Deco at it’s best. The design is pure geometry, red lacquer on silver, with the design in “Coquille d’oeuf” — eggshell enamel, in which tiny pieces of egg-shell are used to form the design. The technique comes from Japan, and was often used by Jean Dunand, one of the most famous Art Deco designers.
