Extremely striking architectural design. The ring is in platinum, which is unusual. The central stone is a fabricated ruby, which would have been quite rare at that time. The surrounding rubies are natural. We don’t know who made it, as the mark is in an impossible place to read, but it would have been made by an important Art Deco designer because of the strong, pure design, the use of platinum, and the rare man-made ruby.
