This sculpture by Alfred Janniot depicts a putti armed with a bow astride a stylized dolphin. This work is related to the frescoes that Janniot realized for the Exposition des Arts Decoratifs in 1937. Completed in plaster, it shows evidence of hollow-mold casting. Other models of this piece exist in a much smaller sizes, but this is the only existing example of this size. 29″ H x 17.5″ W.
