Description
Lucien Falize (1839 – 1897)was a highly important French jeweler, whose firm worked primarily from the mid 18th century through the Art Nouveau period. Their pieces were heavily influenced by “Japonism” , The cloisonné enamels are fine and beautiful.
This is a beautiful and rare circular pendant. One side depicts two birds against a turquoise ground, the other side, a crane and foliage against a red ground. The piece is delicately beaded, 3.4 cm diameter. Perfect condition.
