A short but delightful book — “Diving For Starfish” by Cherie Burns has just come out. She writes about her fascination with a wonderful piece of jewelry — a large, articulated star fish in rubies and amethysts made by the French house of Boivin for Millicent Rogers in the 1930’s. When Cherie first approached me for any information I could share with her, I wondered how she would be able to make what seemed a slim subject into a book, but she has succeeded brilliantly. I am mentioned on pp 57 – 60.
