Wonderful and very rare example of Suzanne Belperron's Art Deco jewelry. The strong, geometric form is accentuated by calibre cut and channel-set sapphires - quite a difficult setting, especially when working with a stone like chalcedony. We find very few examples of Suzanne Belperron jewelry from this period. This ring was exhibited in Paris at the musee des Arts Decoratifs in the exhibition entitled Bijoux Art Deco et Avant-Garde held in 2009. American size 5 1/2.
