What an incredible piece of jewelry! Two gracefully extended hands, with black enamel gloves and gold finger nails, plus diamond cuffs hold a charming motif of a moonstone flower centering a cabochon emerald. Gem-studded golden rays emanate from the moonstone flower. Illustrated on plate 127 of “American Jewelry: Glamour and Tradition.” This brooch is c 1940’s. Unique. This piece will appear in the book in progress on Oscar Heyman.
