Description

Yves Behar is a highly-respected industrial designer, as well as a gifted sculptor. This magical sculpture is made of formed aluminum, with an electroluminescent film on the inner surface. When illuminated, it emits a magical glow. Its dramatic size and elegant form are beautiful and timeless.

Behar designed four prototypes for this sculpture, and this is the only one available on the market. It was exhibited at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in fuseproject, design series2, in March of 2004.  54H x 8.78D x  61W inches.

This piece is unfortunately difficult to photograph. The inner film is pink, not orange.
