Pate de verre is a technique using finely ground glass mixed with a binding agent, then formed, usually in a mould, and heated to fuse the glass. The results are beautiful objects that glow with rich colors. This was particularly popular during the French Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods, and Argy Rousseau was a master of this technique. 7 x 3.50 inches.
