Ricardo Licata was an important mid-century glass designer working in Murano, the birth-place of so much extra-ordinary glass. This is an elegant oval cylinder in milky-white glass, with an intriguing band of black and green murrine elements making a great contrast. This was a very challenging technique, and this vase is perfectly executed. A great addition to a glass collection, or beautiful on it’s own. 8.5 x 4.25 inches.
